Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of water
  • Dish soap
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Plastic squeeze bottle
  • Sturdy stick or straw
  • Shallow dish filled with water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mixture: In a bowl, combine a cup of water with a generous squirt of dish soap. Stir gently until mixed well.
  2. Add color: If desired, mix in a few drops of food coloring to the solution.
  3. Load the bottle: Use a funnel to pour the bubble solution into the plastic squeeze bottle, filling it halfway.
  4. Create the bubble snake: Place a stick or straw in the opening of the bottle, blow softly while squeezing the bottle to release a stream of bubbles.
  5. Watch them float: Let go of the squeeze bottle and enjoy watching the colorful bubble snakes drift away.

Notes

For best results, ensure the mixture has enough dish soap for bubble stability. Kids should blow gently to avoid bursting bubbles.
