A simple and fun activity for kids that combines creativity and basic science by making colorful and stretchy slime.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon contact lens solution
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula

Instructions

  1. Pour about a cup of white school glue into your mixing bowl.
  2. Add a teaspoon of baking soda to the glue and stir gently.
  3. If desired, add food coloring starting with just a drop and swirl gently.
  4. Gradually add a tablespoon of contact lens solution while mixing slowly.
  5. Knead the mixture with your hands to form slime, adjusting with more contact lens solution if it’s too sticky.
  6. Enjoy the texture and feel of the finished Magic Slime in your hands.
  7. Store in an airtight container to keep it fresh.

Notes

Ensure kids are supervised during the process, especially with the contact lens solution. Cleanup is easy with a damp cloth.
