Instructions

  1. Begin by filling your jar or shallow dish about halfway with water.
  2. Slowly pour oil into the water until the jar is nearly full.
  3. Using a dropper or the spoon, add drops of food coloring to the surface of the oil.
  4. Gently stir with a spoon to see the colors marbled beautifully.
  5. Allow the layers to settle and observe how the colors separate.
