Engage your children with delightful Frozen-themed crafts that spark creativity and teach valuable lessons in science.

Ingredients

  • Borax (for crystal projects)
  • White glue
  • Water
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon
  • Wax paper

Instructions

  1. Mix the Borax and water. Start by combining 3 cups of water with 1 cup of borax in a mixing bowl. Stir well until the borax dissolves completely.
  2. Prepare your shape. While the solution cools, take pipe cleaners and shape them into snowflakes or any Frozen-themed character you prefer.
  3. Dip the shapes in the solution. Place the shaped pipe cleaners into the borax solution, ensuring they are fully submerged.
  4. Allow to sit. Set the bowl aside and let it sit overnight. Beautiful crystals will form around your shapes.
  5. Reveal your creations. The next day, carefully remove the pipe cleaners from the solution. Let them dry on a piece of wax paper to see the stunning shimmer of your newly created decorations.

Notes

Ensure kids are supervised while crafting, especially younger ones. Borax is safe when used as directed but should not be ingested.
