Transform ordinary household items into frozen dinosaur eggs that kids can excavate, providing a fun and engaging activity for the whole family.

Ingredients

  • Balloons
  • Small plastic dinosaur toys
  • Water
  • Food dye (optional)
  • Hammer

Instructions

  1. Begin by placing a small plastic dinosaur toy inside each balloon.
  2. Fill the balloons with water and add a drop of food dye for color if you like.
  3. Tie off the balloons and place them in the freezer until they’re completely frozen.
  4. When you’re ready, take the frozen balloons out, remove them, and let your little ones use a hammer to break the ice and reveal the ‘dinosaur eggs’.

Notes

Keep a towel or tray nearby to manage the melting ice. Supervise children closely during the hammering process for safety.
