Ingredients

  • Coffee filters
  • Liquid watercolors or food coloring
  • Spray bottle filled with water
  • Pipe cleaners or green construction paper for stems
  • Scissors
  • A surface covering (old newspaper or a plastic sheet)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by laying down a protective cover.
  2. Flatten several coffee filters in a stack.
  3. Prepare your colors in small cups with liquid watercolors.
  4. Drop colors onto the filters and let them blend.
  5. Lightly spray the filters with water to enhance blending.
  6. Allow the filters to dry completely.
  7. Cut the dried filters into pumpkin shapes.
