Ingredients
- A clear glass jar (any size)
- Glow-in-the-dark paint or powder
- A selection of colorful gemstones or pebbles
- Water
- Optional: LED tea light
Instructions
- Prepare your jar by cleaning and drying it. Ensure it’s free from dust or stickers.
- If using glow-in-the-dark paint, apply a coat evenly on the inside of the jar and allow it to dry completely.
- Start layering your gemstones inside the jar, feeling each stone as it slides into place.
- Fill the jar with water, mixing it with the gemstones to create a lovely reflection of light.
- If desired, place an LED tea light at the base of the jar to enhance the glow effect.
- Find a perfect spot for your gem jar to shine and enjoy the calming glow.
Notes
Supervise younger kids during the craft, especially when using paints and small parts. This project is great for kids aged six and up.
