- 1 clear plastic bottle (16 oz)
- 1 strand of battery-operated LED fairy lights (3 feet)
- 1 sheet of yellow craft paper
- 1 sheet of translucent vellum paper
- 1 pair of large googly eyes
- 1 black pipe cleaner
- 1 hot glue gun with glue sticks
Instructions
- Start by wrapping the yellow craft paper around the center of the plastic bottle and glue it in place.
- Cut two wing shapes from the vellum paper and attach them to the bottle using hot glue, with adult supervision.
- Glue the googly eyes near the bottle cap and wrap the pipe cleaner around the neck to make curly antennae.
- Insert the LED fairy light strand inside the bottle, turn on the battery box, and screw the cap back on.
