  • Silicone molds (flower-shaped preferred)
  • Oven-safe muffin tin (if silicone molds are not available)
  • Baking sheet
  • Adult helper (for safety)

Instructions

  1. Gather your broken crayons and sort by color if desired.
  2. Prepare your molds by placing them on a baking sheet for stability.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. Peel the paper from each crayon and break them into small pieces.
  5. Fill the molds with crayon pieces, about halfway full.
  6. Melt the crayons in the oven for 10-15 minutes, watching closely.
  7. Cool the melted crayons until they are completely set.
  8. Pop out the flowers from the molds and enjoy!
  9. Admire your creations in a sunny spot to see their glow.
