  • 12 inches of cotton yarn
  • 2 metal paperclips

Instructions

  2. Divide the liquid evenly into the two small glass bowls, optionally adding more food coloring.
  3. Take the cotton yarn and tie a paperclip to each end.
  4. Submerge one end of the yarn into each bowl.

  6. Find a warm, quiet spot for your project to sit undisturbed for several days.
